RESIDENTIAL DRAWINGS – MAJOR, UNIQUE HOUSE PLANS
· · · · · · ·
From time to time, we will add major, unique house plans to our site. Not all that we do in house design and custom home building in authoring unique house plans has broad appeal. Not all that we do involves large projects. Now and then, a big residential project develops into unique house plans with characteristics attractive to a wider audience.
We don't expect to do a major, unique house plans set often, in any case, because it takes huge amounts of time and thought to do it properly at all. Just now and then.
To exemplify our intentions in regard to presenting major, unique house plans sets, here's our first effort . . . . . . . . .
French Country "Cottage" House Plans. 34 sheets developed over 15 months, preparatory to letting for construction bids from 4 custom house builders.

French Country Style. Elevations at Front Of House and Back Of House highlight French Country format in the Chateau Style.

Neo-Spanish Colonial Colonial. 50+ sheets all tolled. Started with a stock home plan (single user/single use agreement with the owners and the stock home plan folks) left reasonably intact on the face, modified on the backside, and got an added, detached garage with breezeway. The garage was to appear to significantly predate the house - the area historically scattered settlements from the South and, later, mostly German immigrants. On the inside, basic functions were left more or less in preplanned space, but worked and reworked and re-reworked to the ultimate satisfaction of our clients in formats identifying safety, durability, and convenience.

Victorian House Plan - Farmhouse Style. Nope, not Queen Anne. Nope, not Carpenter Victorian. Something respectful, unique, and designed with a relentless pursuit of both us and our clients.
· · · · · · ·
Riverhouse Remodel. Started as a shack by a big river. Then a cabin. Then a year-round retreat. Now it's gonna grow up and be a really lovely riverhouse.
· · · · · · ·
Hill Country House Remodel. When AG first saw this house picture and its companions, he wrote back that if he was pagan, he'd feel sorry for the place and hoped it'd get better soon. It did. It really did.
