ELEVATIONS - SEGMENTS

Elevations, Segments, in PDF

<— Last

These segments arise in illustration from their otherwise having been undefined in elevation. These 4 segments are blocked from our views in the other elevations either by the high wall as is the case with the dining room segment or by right angles to our view as is the case with the two off-deck views or, finally, by the screened porch wall as is the case with the back of house vantage on the screen-blocked back wall of the dining room.

As with all the elevations, these are built from our foundation plans, floor plans and roof plans, and are literally formed up in grids of those drawings in order to be sure that we get it right when it comes to what goes where. The AG cannot recall a single project where initial elevations didn't either offer design opportunities not recognized in plan views, sections, and details, or expose conflicts completely unforeseen between architectural elements. To the AG and Mrs. AG, elevations are like taking a stage play on the road...it's showtime.
