Our client needs soup-to-nuts house plans for his house addition ideas to his existing of one room and a large deck. These three pics cover everything in the way of his house addition ideas from foundation to as-built perspective. As an interesting aside, our client was a local, general contractor who chose Before The Architect for these designs and plans over his regular sources.
Sheet1 of these house addition ideas covers foundation of both deck and room, and layout as well the joist and floor framing for both. Notes are extensive, as are annotations. These qualities in our work are standard, and you can see for yourself throughout these sheets and others herein.

Sheet 2 of these house addition ideas shows a floor plan, roof plan in plan view, and wall framing plans. The drawing in the lower left is a terrible reproduction by Adobe Acrobat of a beautiful rendition of a Velux skylight application compliments of Velux. The unusual detail of fitting joists to foundation in the lower evidences our concern to clearly depict a somewhat complicated wedding of foundation and framing elements.

Sheet 3 of these house addition ideas takes us through the require three faces of elevation, a cross-section, a wiring diagram, and an as-built perspective. There's not telling what is needed to pull a permit and pass muster in any local jurisdiction without asking, listening carefully, and even obtaining a locally approved plan set in order to firmly grasp what are often jurisdictional nuances of importance or emphasis by rule or environmental condition or simply neighborhood hot button. In this drawing set, the 3d perspective of the as-built was an unusual (though great fun to do) required inclusion. (Subsequent to these drawings, Before The Architect was commissioned to redraw the deck in another 3d perspective configuration just to make sure that the owner-couple were not mistaken between them of an alternative idea that had lingered for some time between them unresolved. That subsequent drawing is not included herewith, as it turned out in the judgment of all concerned once viewed collectively that the as-drawn was overwhelmingly preferable.)
