Comment:  This means no splits or branches to or from a microwave electrical circuit wiring.

 

9)     Radon mitigation, in-line fan motor 

a)    NOTE: IRC 2006, APPENDIX F; AF103.12 POWER SOURCE "TO PROVIDE FOR INSTALLATION OF A FUTURE SUB-MEMBRANE OR SUB-SLAB DEPRESSURIZATION SYSTEM, AN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT WIRING TERMINATED IN AN APPROVED BOX SHALL BE INSTALLED DURING CONSTRUCTION IN THE ATTIC OR OTHER ANTICIPATED LOCATION OF VENT PIPE FANS.  AN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE IN ANTICIPATED LOCATIONS OF SYSTEM FAILURE ALARMS."

b)    wherewith

i)      boxes shall be not less than metal

ii)    conduit shall be not less than 

(1) flexible or solid metal sheathed

(2) securely fastened

(a) solidly

(b) stably

(c) not suspended

iii) conductors shall be not less than 12AWG CU THHN 

iv)  lines shall be not less than 120V/20A

v)    one box per radon mitigation riser pipe

vi)  each line

(1)an individual electrical circuit wiring

(2)   set not greater than 5 linear feet above floor level

 

2)     A two-pole electrical circuit wiring
